Die australische Band AQUILUS, die eigentlich nur aus Mastermind und Multiinstrumentalist Horace Rosenqvist besteht fabriziert mit klassischen und folkigen Elementen angereicherten Atmospheric Metal und kombiniert akustische Gitarren und Klavier mit Folkinstrumenten und Filmusiksequenzen.

Nach zehn Jahren Entwicklungszeit erscheint am 03. Dezember die neue Scheibe „Bellum I“ und ‚Into Wooded Hollows‘ verschafft einen ersten Eindruck im Video.

“‘Bellum I’ is an atmospheric metal album with a fusion of classical/film, folk and black metal influences, continuing in the tradition of the work started on the first album, ‘Griseus,’ and evolving to new levels.”
