MANNTRA, die Folk Metal Unit aus Kroatien, stellt soeben ihren neuen, eher untypischen Song `Watcher Watcher` als Video vor und verbindet damit die Ankündigung ihres nächsten Albums “ Wild Hunt“, das am 25 Dezember herauskommen soll.
MANNTRA schreiben zu `Watcher Watcher`:
“Watcher Watcher is the first single from our upcoming album, Wild Hunt, an album that feels bigger and more ambitious than anything we have done before. The song is about the never-ending cycle and struggle of mankind, and our desperate need to believe that there is something bigger watching over us. Something that sees us, guides us, or gives meaning to all of this. But maybe we are actually left alone. Time changes everything. Things that feel important to us now will mean nothing in a hundred years, or a thousand. Eventually, no one will remember any of us. And maybe there is something strangely liberating in that thought. Watcher Watcher is also about ignoring the false prophets and not giving your soul or your heart to something that will not last, or something that will never bring you any real joy. There is no perfect moment waiting for us somewhere in the future. There is no point where we suddenly become completely ready. So just live. Take the chances. Make mistakes. Love, lose, celebrate, destroy, create. Enjoy life without waiting for permission or for everything to finally fall into place. The perfect moment does not exist, and none of us are ever truly ready. Sometimes you just have to jump. The Watcher is an entity that has been looking down on us all this time. Watching the same patterns repeat themselves, generation after generation. The same mistakes. The same wars. The same greed, fear, hatred and desperation. Maybe the Watcher finally turned its back on us? Maybe it simply got tired of watching us do the same things over and over again?“
