Lyrics:
Do you wish you’d lived your life less the idiot?
And what would your life have been not playing the fool?
Raise your veil of misery, how long have you been asleep?
With the weight of it all on your shoulders just to exist
Lift the veil, the vast scale – sharpening your eyes to points
Don’t sleep and dream about it – a matter of choice
Cause now it’s over
The journey’s over
And now it’s over
Your journey’s over
History through damaged lens sanctioning your fear
An endless momentary lapse of reason disappears
Which is worse the pain of knowing or the ignorance of not?
With the weight of it all on your shoulders there’s no room for chips
Lift the veil, the vast scale – sharpening your eyes to points
Write an end to the nightmare – a matter of choice
Cause now it’s over
A vital crucial moment signified
The journey’s over
The threads that hold it all together
And now it’s over
A vital crucial moment signified
Your journey’s over
The threads that hold it all together
Your presence, quintessence – there’s no good no joy at all
Failure in every success – so choose to change
Rise
Rise, laughing at the odds you gotta rise
Perpetrated language by design
A vital crucial moment signified
And death should tremble to take you
Cause now it’s over
A vital crucial moment signified
The journey’s over
The threads that hold it all together
And now it’s over
A vital crucial moment signified
Your journey’s over
The threads that hold it all together
Your presence, quintessence – there’s no good no joy at all
Success in every failure – it’s always been your choice
