„This song takes you to the cradle of History, the land of Pharaohs, the city of the Kings of Egypt to witness the death of a Queen. It is an evocation of the eternity of pyramids and their mysteries, echoing the graphical concept of the ‚Of Wonders and Wars‘ artwork.“

Lyrics: ‚Pyramids‘ (music and lyrics by V. Leff)

My mind is wandering through centuries,
To witness wars of men, and death of kings.
From here to the cradle of humankind,
From Eiffel Tower to pyramids of Giza.

Powerful architects of ancient times,
Build as you will, heed not what sceptic men say.
They scoff at the vanity of your wildest dreams,
Coming to marvel why you waste your time.

Look at the Pyramid of stone in the sand.
How did you know it would survive your soul
Marvels of ancient times still proudly stand,
Centuries of History contemplating your vain ephemeral lives.

I cry as I can see billions of lives,
Exhausting Earth in our deadly growth.
We die while hoping for an afterlife.
We are just building the tomb for our lifeless bones

Wise scientists of modern times,
Lighten our way, heed not what fanatics say.
They’d rather believe in their bloody lies,
Spread by apostles of money and gods.

Look at the Pyramid of stone in the sand,
How did you know it would survive their soul.
Marvel of ancient times still proudly stands,
Centuries of History contemplating your vain ephemeral lives.

Pyramids of stone, will you stand proud until the end of time?
Tomb of kings, who tried to unveil the secrets of eternal life.
Pyramids of stone, you will survive through all the wars we wage,
Ready to brave millions of years, indifferent to the fate of men.

Look at the Pyramids built from clay and from stone.
How vain was your hope to rival your gods!
