Mit `Crawl´ präsentieren WHOM GODS DESTROY, die neue Hard Prog Kollaboration von Derek Sherinian, Ron `Bumblefoot‘ Thal, Dino Jelusick sowie Yas Nomura und Schlagzeuger Bruno Valverde, bereits die dritte Auskopplung aus ihrem kommenden Debütalbum „Insanium“, das am 15. März auf den Markt kommt. Auf die erste recht harten Single `In The Name Of War` folgte `Over Again´.

Sänger Dino Jelusick kommentiert `Crawl´:

“’Crawl’ was the 2nd song Ron, Derek & Myself worked on. We had many versions of it. Very progressive and very melodic. Combines all the influences that the band has and just grows into something that’s our very own.“

Lyrics:

Pain, has nothing on
These old wings, made of steel
And rain, never felt so cold
Opens up and wounds unfold

Your game, dragged me in and tied a knot
Deeper than I ever thought
You control it from now on
Take it home

You gave and saved my soul and in the end you’ll take it all
With ashes and dust on my hands for you I crawl
We rise and fall, our lives we’re never ours at all
Down with our fists to the ground, we all crawl

Sun never seemed to shine
Down on me, down on us
And run to the open door
Through the sand to the shore

Godforsaken, crawling desperately
Made of scars to bleed eternally
Why does it feel like yesterday?
Stings so hard it makes me wanna pray
Name me, blame me – do it all
I’ll go back again and start to crawl
