„Roadrunner United“ war ein Projekt organisiert um das 25-jährige Jubiläum der Company zu feiern. Für die „The All Star Sessions“ wurden vier „team captains“ (Slipknot’s Joey Jordison, Machine Head’s Robb Flynn, Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares und Trivium’s Matthew K. Heafy) ausgewählt, um 57 Künstler von 45 Roadrunner Bands anzuführen. In diesem Zusammenhang fand am 15. Dezember 2005 ein einmaliges Konzert im Nokia Theater in New York City statt, von dem der heutige Clip stammt. Es performten TRIVIUM gemeinsam mit Machine Head Fronter Robb Flynn den Song `Pull Harder On The Strings Of Martyr´ vom Trivium-Album „Ascendancy“ (2005).

Die „Hauptband“ bestand aus Dino Cazares (Fear Factory), Adam Duce (Machine Head), Paul Gray (Slipknot), Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls), Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) und Roy Mayorga (Hellyeah, Stone Sour). Am 10. März 2023 werden sowohl die All Star Sessions CD als auch das Konzert erstmals in verschiedenen Versionen veröffentlicht.

Matt Heafy erklärt dazu:

„The Roadrunner United album was something I still have a hard time believing that it happened. A 19-year-old me being enlisted to be able to write anything I wanted… while picking a dream lineup of my favorite musicians every single every song? I am still honored and grateful to have been allowed this amazing experience. All I can say is… I want to do Part II.“
