Fernanda Lira und ihre brasilianische Death Metal Unit CRYPTA machen es einem gar nicht so leicht auf dem Besetzungskarussel den Überblick zu behalten. Heute soll es aber um neue Musik in Form der Vorabsingle `A Portrait Of Decay´ gehen, an der neben der Bandleaderin Schlagzeugerin Luana Damett sowie die beiden Gitarristinnen Tainá Bergamaschi und Victoria Villarreal beteiligt sind. Anfang Oktober geht es für den Vierer dann auf große Nordamerikatour mit Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Septicflesh und Thrown Into Exile, wo es den neuen Track dann auch erstmals live zu hören gibt.

„“A Portrait of Decay” is the first song off this new chapter of the band that we’d like to share with you, our fans. We decided to release it before the album campaign as a way to present the new line-up to you and show you what kind of sound you can expect in this new era of the band. We chose this song because we think it summarizes the whole atmosphere of how our new music will sound. It’s an intense, atmospheric, melancholic, but still epic and aggressive death metal track that talks about dissociation as means to enduring pain and suffering.“
