Die deutschen Epic Power Metaller AEON GODS schicken sich an am 22. November ihren Debüt-Longplayer „King Of Gods“ zu veröffentlichen. Im heute veröffentlichen Lyricvideo gibt es die erste Single „Aeon Gods“ daraus zu hören, in dem es um den epischen Kampf zwischen den babylonischen Göttern Marduk und Tiamat geht. Anfang des Jahres hatte die Band den epischen Track `Ereshkigal` präsentiert.

Marduk and his followers they were well prepared
To fight against the army of Tiamat

Marduk ruled the elements – weapons of a god
His seven winds created a great storm
He assembled all his troops – ready to attack

She cursed her crawling counsellors in anger

The campaign went back and forth – no one could prevail
So, the final fight was imminent
Marduk blew the Evil Wind straight against Tiamat
And killed her with an arrow through her heart

The enemies surrendered and begged to save their lives
The victory of Marduk raised his glory
