”Karl got the idea for the song after hearing a cuckoo in the forest. Inspired by its simple two note call, he wanted to write something stripped down to the most primal basics. Later that night, he saw something in the sky that he first believed was a supernova, an image that would go on to inspire the song’s lyrics.”
Karl ergänzt
”Supernova has some unique elements I believe. Something that will work very well when we perform it live on stage. Lyrically, it explores both the vastness of the universe and the connection between two people, using the universe as a symbol for powerful emotions.”

Lyrics:
Neon halos in your hair
Solar wind is in the air
Your gravity pulls me close
Like a star about to explode
Comets screaming through the night
Forevermore, forevermore
Gravity pulling us higher
Forevermore
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
Velvet planets start to spin
Electric silence on your skin
Satellites begin to fall
When your starlight hits us all
Comets screaming through the night
Forevermore, forevermore
Gravity pulling us higher
Forevermore
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
Light floods out across the sky
Every star goes wild tonight
Time breaks open in your glow
Then the universe goes supernova
Comets screaming through the night
Forevermore, forevermore
Gravity pulling us higher
Forevermore
Comets screaming through the night
Forevermore, forevermore
Gravity pulling us higher
Forevermore
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
If I say Super you say Nova
Super – Nova
