“This song is certainly the variety pack of the EP. We do a little bit of everything on this one: we blast, we thrash, we get a lil’ *spicy* with guitar harmonies, and we bring back some of the doomier elements seen on ‘Cave Dweller’. Lyrically, “Cosmic Parasite” follows the few remaining members of a native species desperately trying to outrun the mass extinction being brought on by a ruthless extraterrestrial attack on their home planet. Fun stuff all around. We’re really proud of this one…hope y’all like it!”

Lyrics:
„Hiding hunting death surrounds
Trudging forward cant be found
Trapped inside this world, lightyears from our home
Facing mass extinction, stranded all alone
The siege converges on an ancient temple of stone
The attack is underway, the advancing butchered, slain
So far from disclosure, farther from feeling safe
Labeled hazardous, abandoned and left for dead
Narrowly escaping death, endless horrors ahead
The siege converges on an ancient tower of bones
The assault is underway, the defending now the butchered, slain
So far from our home world, farther from feeling safe
Far from our home world, last of a dying race
Surrounded and ensnared by slime, breeding death
Grab my hand, tucked under moss, and evading the oncomer
Muffled cries, silence is needed for our survival
Chances narrowed, hours barely pass, and awaiting the arrival
Nightfall brings a brand new danger, fear of the unknown
Narrowly escaping death, endless piles of heads
Denounce the sunrise, fearing daylight
Mangled bodies writhe, Cosmic Parasite
Our hope lies, daybreak dies
Hiding hunting death surrounds
Trudging forward cant be found
Trapped inside this world, lightyears from our home
Facing mass extinction stranded all alone
Casualties of endless war, giant rock being terraformed
Inhabitants been laid to waste, dismantling the native ranks
Grab my hand, tucked under moss and evading the oncomer
Muffled cries, silence is needed for our survival
Chances narrowed, hours barely pass and awaiting the arrival
Nightfall brings a brand new danger, fear of the unknown
Solo: Dan Erdenberger
Flames from the front raging on, so few survive
Incoming rapid heavy blasts, erasing life
Shadows encasing growing dark, we say goodbye
Yet somehow we wouldn’t fucking die“
