Lyrics:

Silenced a million spoken voices

Their choices stolen without violence

Stopped by unrelenting forces

Who never saw their worth

Who never saw their souls as they were

Silenced a concept thought of freely

In fury a statement of defiance

Blocked no judges and no jury

From many to a few to everyone we knew

We reel at the scale of the wall they created

Lost at the cost of the world they deleted

The shouting of a dream

Was nothing but a scream inside

As everyone was

Silenced the past is just a memory

Nostalgia is all that it’s cracked up to be

Stored like some forgotten history

Left to gather dust they were

Loved and they were lost and they were

Silenced they knew that it was coming

They told us we’d reach the end of summer

We stand in line with arrows

To beat the new machine

We’re slaughtered by the bullets

In the form of T’s and C’s

We reel at the scale of the wall they created

Lost at the cost of the world they deleted

The shouting of a dream

Was nothing but a scream inside

As everyone was silenced

As everyone was silenced

Silenced silenced

Silenced silenced

We reel at the scale of the wall they created

Lost at the cost of the world they deleted

The shouting of a dream

Was nothing but a scream inside

And after their show of compassion is ended

We’ll hear the coda of what they intended

The shouting of a dream

Was nothing but a scream inside

As everyone was silenced

As everyone was silenced

Silenced a million spoken voices

Their choices stolen without violence

Stopped by unrelenting forces

Who never saw their worth

Who never saw their souls as they were
