“It’s about moving on, accepting defeat and just moving on, instead of spending the rest of your life blaming yourself or whoever for things not going the way you´d hoped. As hard as it may seem, don’t give up, just press reset, smile! grab your dreams and start over again, be the King of your own destiny!
‘King of Nothing‘ is the first single I have written for THRESHOLD since ‘Innocent´ back in 1994 during my first stint with the band, and it feels awesome and exciting to have one of my songs chosen for release as a single from the new album Dividing Lines.”

Lyrics:

All my dreams are undone

I’m losing my faith

The battle was lost

So why should I stay

Now all that I’ve done can’t hold me forever

You deceived me with lies

Deceived me with innocence

Sentiment influence

Plotting my own unconscious demise

I followed you endlessly faithfully

Watched as you sold me a whole new world

Said we could be home soon home soon

I, I won’t give in this time

I will not follow

What my eyes can’t see my heart can’t feel

Take me back to the other side

Where I’m

king of nothing but a smile

This whole thing became part of me

Told you I could win

But the truth is so bitter to taste

Poisoned apathy

Watch the colours burn and fade away

I, I won’t give in this time

I will not follow

What my eyes can’t see my heart can’t feel

Take me back to the other side

Where I’m king of nothing but a smile

‘Cos I, I won’t give in this time

I will not follow

What my eyes can’t see my heart can’t feel

Take me back to the other side

Where I’m king of nothing
