Im Mai hatte die sympatische britische Post Hardcore/Post Metal Band nach rund 15 Jahren Bandgeschichte bekannt gegeben, dass 2026 ihr letztes gemeinsames Jahr als Band sein wird mit einer letzten EU-Tour, einer letzten Japantour und einigen ausgewählten Abschiedsshows. Heute wurde nun der letzte SVALBARD Song, die Abschiedssingle `If We Could Still Be Saved´ samt ein wenig nostalgischem Videomaterial veröffentlicht. „The Weight Of The Mask“ (2023) wird somit das letzte Album von SVALBARD bleiben.
