Tom Angelripper und seine Thrasher SODOM bringen am 10. November ihre nostalgische EP „1982“ heraus und schicken heute ein Video zum Titeltrack. Auf der Scheibe finden die Fans neu eingespielte Versionen von Songs der Frühzeit und die Trackliste nimmt den Hörer mit zurück in die 80er:

“Vermutlich würden wir solche Songs wie zum Beispiel „1982“ heutzutage anders komponieren und zeitgemäßer arrangieren. Aber wir sehen dies als kleine Zeitreise mit dem Flair der frühen Achtziger. Uns geht es darum, noch einmal an die wilden Jahre zu erinnern. Damals fanden die Leute Bands wie Motörhead oder Venom schrecklich. Aber wir haben auf ihre Meinung geschissen, wir wollten schocken und die Leute entrüsten.“
