Die Italienisch-Malaysische Symphonic Metal Kooperation SILENT ANGEL, mit gleich zwei Sängerinnen, präsentiert, nach dem symphonisch ausgelegten `Against The Tides` , ihren balladenhaften Song `Tears of Celestine` vom Debütalbum “Unyielding, Unrelenting“, das am 24. November herauskommt.
Bandkopf und Gitarrist Eric “StormBlade” Poon schreibt dazu:
“I wrote this song around 2014 / 2015 during the early days of the reforming of Silent Angel. Believe it or not, I wrote the music, structure, flow, and lyrics all in under 10 minutes. Everything just came together as a whole package almost instantly. All I did was close my eyes, freed my mind and I just penned the words onto paper and everything just flowed out like honey. The intro section became the core of the whole song and as I was strumming along to the chords, the pre-chorus and chorus sections just fell into place like perfect fit puzzle pieces. The guitar solo just flowed into my being almost instantly as well right after the musical idea was nailed down. It was one of the rare moments where I could execute what I conceptualized in my mind on the spot.”

Lyrics:
In the Northern sky, An endless sea of stars,
Fills the spirit with silent serenity
Hope lingers on, As the Heavens fall,
I bid farewell, My soul eternal
I remember the loneliness,
Yet I waited for an eternity,
Letting go of my faith,
Yet I hold on to your tears.
A sacred call from the other side,
As heavenly tears continue to fall,
On the streets where tomorrow calls out
To the shadows of yesterday
Bleeding hearts, broken vows and shattered dreams,
How could I have been So blind to her pain.
Never touched, never felt, never belonged,
Forever lost, In this silent storm
Find a sense, of belonging,
Holding on to this life,
I see her weep, tears of solitude,
Her cries echo in the wind.
A sacred call from the other side,
As heavenly tears continue to fall,
On the streets where tomorrow calls out
To the shadows of yesterday
A sacred call (A sacred call) from the other side,
As heavenly tears continue to fall,
On the streets (On the streets) where tomorrow calls out
To the shadows of yesterday
A sacred call from the other side,
As heavenly tears continue to fall,
On the streets where tomorrow calls out
To the shadows of yesterday
