Die deutsche Band RESURRECTED produziert seit 1993 gnadenlosen Brutal Death Metal und hat ihr kommendes „Perpetual“ Album für den 10. April angekündigt, mit dem die Truppe aus NRW eine Albumpause von rund zehn Jahren beendet. Heute ist daraus der Titeltrack erschienen.
Sänger Chris Mieves sagt:
„The title track of the album unites everything that the band stands for in 2026. It’s like a journey through the evolution of the band in the past decades as it is combining a mixture of raw old school brutality, infecting neckbreaker riffs, and relentless blast beats to the bone. I will definetively enjoy to play this one live and headbangers will do too.“
Gitarrist Thomas Granzow fügt hinzu:
„It was the first time in the band’s history that our singer Chris came to me with an idea for the opening riff. And it had two voices. So the story for the album’s title track began. After adding Chris Zeller to our ranks the song became an ass-kicking build up peaking in his awesome guitar solo. The icing on the cake of this blasting headbanger, which is also the fastest we ever did when it comes to the blast part.“
