Der Solokünstler und Multiinstrumentalist Stephen Kern hat das Thrash Metal Projekt OF ICE initiiert und dafür die beiden ehemaligen Iced Earth Mitglieder Sänger Gene Adam (Iced Earth 1985-1991) und Freddie Vidales (Iced Earth 2008 – 2012) am Bass rekrutiert. Das erste Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit, die Single `Wake Up´, gibt es im Videoclip. Das Cover Artwork, in dem Gene und Freddie versuchen, einen Internetjunkie vor Gehirnwäsche und Kontrolle durch die neuen Medien zu warnen, stammt von Jeremiah S. Morgan.
