Thresholds Keyboarder und Songwriter Richard West hat die Progband OBLIVION PROTOCOL ins Leben gerufen und dort auch den Sängerposten eingenommen. Ende Mai hatte die Band  bereits das erste gemeinsame Album “The Fall Of The Shires“  für den 18. August angekündigt. Nach der ersten Auskopplung `Forests In The Fallout`, folgt heute die Single `This Is Not A Test`

Richard erklärt:

“’This Is Not A Test‘ handelt vom Enttarnen betrügerischer Handlungen, die gegen einen vorgenommen werden. Die dazugehörige Zeit am Set der Göteborger rEvolver Studios [IN FLAMES, EUROPE] letzten Monat war wirklich großartig. Auch wenn die meisten Beteiligten bereits miteinander vertraut waren, so hat sich unsere Truppe dort doch erstmalig als Kollektiv eingefunden. Glücklicherweise harmonierten wir alle prächtig miteinander!“
