Das OBITUARY Team plant für den 11 Dezember die remasterten Wiederveröffentlichungen der vergriffenen beiden Alben “Xecutioner’s Return“ (im Original von 2007 und “Darkest Day“ aus dem Jahr 2009. Die neue “Darkest Day“ Version enthält mit `Dethroned Emperor` (Celtic Frost Cover) und der 2008er Version von `Slowly We Rot` zwei Bonustracks, die bisher nur auf der “Left To Die“ EP von 2008 erhältlich waren.
OBITUARY erzählen über die Reissues:
“We are super excited about the remastered reissues of Xecutioner’s Return & Darkest Day These albums have not been available for many years and it’s great to know that soon fans can finally get their hands on them. It will give everyone an opportunity to enjoy and remember Frank Watkins and the final OB recordings with him while allowing fans to celebrate the amazing, shredding solos that Ralph Santolla threw down on these records during his time with us. R.I.P. both our brothers….gone but not forgotten.”
