Die beiden Fates Warning Mitglieder Ray Alder und Jim Matheos brechen auf zu neuen Ufern und präsentieren unter dem Banner des neuen Prog Projekts NORTH SEA ECHOES den Releasetermin ihres gemeinsamen Debütalbums „Really Good Terrible Things“, welches am 23. Februar auf den Markt kommt und teilen als einen ersten Vorgeschmack die neue Single `Open Book´.

Matheos erklärt:

„The first single off the record, “Open Book” kicks things off, and was also the first song written on ‘Really Good Terrible Things’. With Ray’s lyrics about ending and beginnings, it felt like a good mood to start off with.”

Alder fügt hinzu:

“The line ‘we’re a cloud behind the moon’ is referring to the fact that we are all basically an impossibility. Yet here we are. And we will go on until we can’t. I’m speaking of inevitability.”
