Die schwedischen Melodic Metaller NEPTUNE sind mit einer langen Unterbrechnung seit Anfang der 80er und seit 2017 wieder so richtig aktiv unterwegs, was zur Veröffentlichung der Compilation „Land Of Northern“ (2018) und des Longplayers „Northern Steel“ (2020) führte. In diesem Jahr nun soll die EP „The Rebirth“ mit vier neu aufgenommenen alten Songs rauskommen. Den Anfang macht `Enemies´ im Video.

Und so kommentiert die Band die EP:

„The Rebirth – What the “heck” is that… Well, in short… while waiting for our sequel to Northern Steel, we have gone through our back catalog and decided that it was time to re-record a couple of our old songs. Several of the songs on Land of Northern are just demo recordings from the rehearsal room or from some simpler/smaller type of studio. We felt it was time to give some of the old ones a little extra treatment, as in, give the songs new life and extra vitality – hence “The Rebirth”“.
