MYRKUR, also die Sängerin, Komponistin und multi-Instrumentalistin Amalie Bruun, die sich auch im Black Metal zuhause fühlt, will für Dänemark zum Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Dafür hat sie die neue, dunkle und cinematische Ballade `Touch My Love and Die` veröffentlicht, die Elemente aus Metal, Nordic Folk und Soundtrack artige Klänge verbindet.
Aufgenommen hat MYRKUR den Song im Winter 2025 zusammen mit Christopher Juul von Heilung. Mal schauen ob es klappt.
MYRKUR beschreibt den Track als mit “heart, soul, blood, and tears“ geschrieben und hofft ein Gegenstück zu einer von KI dominierten Wegwerfkultur geschaffen zu haben.
