Die schwedische Thrashband MEZZROW ist aus dem drei Jahrzehnte dauernden Kälteschlaf erwacht und streamt `Beneath The Sea of Silence`, den zweiten Track ihres vor kurzem angekündigten Comeback-Albums „Summon Thy Demons“, das am 21. April herauskommt. Als ersten Track hatte der personell leicht veränderte Fünferpack den Song `Through The Eyes Of The Ancient Gods` veröffentlicht.
Bassist Conny Welén erklärt
„Natürlich haben wir einen neuen, frischeren Sound, der reifer und düsterer ist, aber es ist immer noch old school Thrash Metal aus der Bay Area, der das Fundament bildet. Wir weigern uns, die Gitarren herunterzustimmen, und man kann definitiv hören, was Uffe singt! Einige der Songs sind sogar ein bisschen melodisch, aber auf eine thrashige Art und Weise. Also keine Sorge, wir machen keine Balladen“
