Soeben gaben die Schweizer Ur-Thrasher MESSIAH den Tod ihres Sängers ANDY KAINA bekannt. ANDY war auf “ Choir of Horrors“, “Rotten Perish“. den Livealben sowie dem bisher letzten Album “Fracmont“ zu hören. Mit nur 53 Jahren verstarb er im künstlichen Koma , nach einem Herzinfarkt.

”Dear MESSIAH fans & friends,

Unfortunately, today we have to bring you sad news and mourn the death of our friend ANDY KAINA.

Andy suffered a heart attack and never woke up from the artificial coma.

We are shocked and saddened and wish his family strength and all the best from the bottom of our hearts.

His legacy lives on in the music of Messiah and we consider ourselves lucky to have recorded great albums with him.

Andy, we will miss you!”
