Qualität über Quantität scheint das Motto der israelischen Melodic Extreme Metaller von WINTERHORDE zu sein, die gute sechs Jahre nach ihrem aktuellen „Maestro“ Dreher ihr vierstes Studioalbum „Neptunian“ ankündigen. Die Aufnahmen im Studio laufen, ein Veröffentlichungstermin steht noch nicht fest. Heute gibt es erstmal ein Video zum Track `Worms Of Soul´ von der aktuellen Scheibe. WINTERHORDE verbinden melodische und progressive Elemente mit ihrer Black Metal Basis zu einem heavy, dramatischen und epischen Mix sowie einer oft theatralischen Bühnenshow.

Die Band selbst drückt es so aus:

„The time has come to share with you some exciting news regarding our new album „Neptunian“. This week we have entered the studio with producer/engeneer Yonatan Kossov and recorded all the drum parts for the album !!! Moreover there’s also something very important for us to share. As some of you may know, our drummer Ivan Welder had to leave the band, due to personal reasons, some months before the recording. Quite a situation for a band, but there’s no way back. We have schedule, deadlines and stuff. The show must go on. Skipping the dramma, the solution was found. The man behind the drum kit, is none less than the legend himself, mr. Nir Nakav of death metal gods – SALEM. We can’t really describe the professionalism and work ethics of the man. We will be eternally grateful to Nir and more than happy to have him at this chapter of Winterhorde.“
