Die britische Black Metal Truppe MASTER’S CALL veröffentlicht heute ihren Old School Song `Blood On The Altar` von ihrem ersten Langeisen „A Journey For The Damned“, das am 24. November erscheinen wird. Der Fünferpack wird im Februar mit Album und der 2019 veröffentlichten „Morbid Black Trinity“ EP im Rücken, auch zwei Gigs in Deutschland spielen. „In „Blood On The Altar“ geht es darum, seinen Körper, sein Blut und seinen Geist zu opfern, um einer größeren Macht zu trotzen, die einen zurückhält oder sich gegen die eigenen Überzeugungen stellt. Dieses Stück hat eine eher schwedisch inspirierte, punkigere Black-Metal-Atmosphäre, gefüllt mit einigen wirklich coolen, einprägsamen Black-Metal-Melodien und einigen klassischen Heavy-Metal-Gitarrensoli. Es hat etwas von der alten Schule, mit einigen kraftvollen, höllisch epischen Momenten“
