Am heutigen Freitag veröffentlichen die finnischen Horror Rocker ihren neuen Langdreher „Limited Deadition“ und stellen aus diesem Grund den Track `Fangoria´, einen ziemlich eingängigen LORDI-typischen Hardrock Ohrwurm, im Lyricvideo vor.
Für Mr. Lordi ist der Song ein weiterer Nostalgietrip:
„‘Fangoria’ takes its name from the American horror and cult film magazine of the same name. It was my favourite magazine of the 80’s and 90’s. Monsters, horror stories, movies, and especially the articles on costume design SFX were the big thing for me. I have long wanted to do a song of the matter and pay tribute to the best magazine of my Youth, which certainly has its part to play among the influences that later would become a worldwide phenomenon. Right in the intro there’s also a reference to the ‚Back To The Future‘ film series. The more observant true fans might quickly guess what it’s all about!“
