Tomas Åkvik und seine LIK Mannen kündigen ihre nächste Studioscheibe, mit dem Titel “Necro“ für den 18. April an. Zur Ankündigung des“ Misanthropic Breed“ Nachfolgers haben LIK ihren neuen Song `War Praise` mit dem passenden Video versehen, um ihren klassischen Old School Schweden Death Sound zu promoten.
LIK Frontmann Tomas erklärt zum Song:
“We had to write this track before we could even start working on the new album. A LIK track that felt just like LIK but with enough new stuff to make it interesting for us. Sadly enough the world is still plagued by wars so we had to write about the horrors of it.”
und ergänzt überd das Album:
“The ambition with ‘Necro’ was to make an even better record than the previous albums. I think this one is really tied together. As it started growing and the songs got put together we were 100% focused on making that LIK album. I really think we made a really good death metal album, we found the right ingredients to make this one work.”
