INNERWISH hatten mit ihrem 2024er Longplayer “Ash Of Eternal Flame” einen guten Eindruck bei den klassisch orientierten Metallern hinterlassen. Jetzt meldet sich die Band mit ihrer neuen, irgendwie an Accept erinnernde Single `The Enemy Inside` zurück.
Die Band schreibt zum neuen Song:
“Well, we love ACCEPT. And songs like this one, shows our love for their characteristic straight forward riffing. Almost in every album of ours, we have a song of that type. Never the same, yet, the influence and inspiration is there. What can we do? We love that groovy metal! The lyrics are actually inspired by the movie “Munich” and the life of spies, plus the continuing moral dilemmas occurring through their decisions and acts.“
