Die vor über 45 Jahren gegründeten Teutonenmetaller GRAVE DIGGER veröffentlichen heute um 19:00 Uhr den ersten Song ihres nächsten, “Faces Of Pain“ getauften Albums Nummer 23. Als Erscheinungstermin für das neue Stück Old School Heavy Metal ist der 15. Januar 2027 geplant.
Chris Boltendahl erzählt zu `The Number`:
“THE NUMBER is far more than just a song – it is a cry against forgetting and a memorial to humanity. We look back at one of the darkest chapters in history. There was a time when people were stripped of their names, their identities and their dignity. Instead, numbers were burned into their skin. They were no longer seen as human beings, but treated like animals – trapped in an unimaginable system of systematic inhumanity. When we look at the world today, a justified fear begins to creep in: the fear that these horrific times, in a different form, could one day return. That we might forget where hatred and the dehumanization of others can lead. This is exactly where THE NUMBER comes in. This song is an unequivocal statement against the horrors of the past.
