Neben Dark Tranqulity, The Halo Effect und Cemetery Skyline ist Fronter Michal Stanne auch bei den Schweden GRAND CADAVER als Sänger aktiv. Diese bestehen darüber hinaus aus Gitarrist Stefan Lagergren (Tiamat, The Grifted/ex. Treblinka/Expulsion), Gitarrist Alex Stjernfeldt (Novarupta, Child), Bassist Christian Jansson (Pagandom, Dark Tranquillity) und Drummer Daniel Liljekvist (Disrupted, ex-Katatonia), die am 15. August ihre neue EP „The Rot Beneath“ auf den Markt bringen. Der Titelsong, den ihr hier im Video sehen könnt, bietet wie zu erwarten melodischen Schwedentod. Bisher hat die Band zwei Studioalben herausgebracht.

„When you look at the state of the world today, it’s difficult not to feel despair. We see madness, death, war, corruption and polarisation. And it makes you think; what are we if not the cause of the problem, what are we if not the rot beneath? This is the anthem to mankind’s demise.“
