Das seit den neunzigern aktive japanische Death Metal Outfit DEFILED hat seinen neuen Old School Track `The Highest Level` hochgeladen, um auf ihr nächstes Album „The Highest Level“ aufmerksam zu machen, das am 28. April herauskommt.
Die Band erklärt den thrashig angehauchten Song so:
„ We are happy to release „The Highest Level“, the title track of our new album. The intention of the track is to capture the nostalgia of the late 80’s and early 90’s transition from thrash metal to death metal and bring it into the 21st century with our own interpretation. How will this track sound to you in 2023? It is not exactly the same as it was back then, but we hope you enjoy it..“
