1985 wurde in Virginia die Death Truppe DECEASED von Kingsley „King“ Fowley ins Leben gerufen. Nach 40 Jahren scheint die Zeit reif, für eine fette Compilation, die unter dem passenden Namen “March Of The Cadavers – 40 Years of Death Metal From the Grave“ am 29. August erschienen soll.
Die Rückschau kommt als Doppel-CD mit insgesamt 26 Songs der DECEASED Geschichte und bietet neben bekannten Songs auch Bonusmaterial. So gibt es darauf zwei frische Tracks, `Dusted` und `Cure for the Grieving Widow`, Coverversionen von Black Sabbaths `Die Young` und Venoms `Lady Lust`und neuaufnahmen der Demosongs `March of the Cadavers` und `Sick Thrash` vom allerrsten Tape “The Evil Side of Religion“.
