DARK OATH, die aus Portugal stammende Symphonic/Melodic Death Metal Unit präsentiert ihre neue Single `The Weaver´ und damit die erste Auskopplung, die zumindest auf den ersten Blick im Titel nicht direkt etwas mit Metallen zu tun hat. Wobei: weben kann man diese natürlich auch. Hatten die bisherigen Singles doch die Titel `Gold I (Dawn Of Time)´, `Bronze I (Stolen Flame)´ und `Iron (Through the Veil of Night)´ getragen. Und in der Tat geht es um die drei griechischen Schicksalsgöttinnen Klotho, Lachesis und Atropos, die das Schicksal der Menschen durch das Spinnen, Abmessen und Abschneiden des Lebensfadens beeinflussen. Der Longplay Zweitling “Ages of Man” erscheint am 18. Januar.
