Von ihrem “What We Leave Behind“ Album, das am 02 Oktober herauskommen soll, schicken BRYMIR die zweite Auskopplung `Tempestbound`. Der schnelle Song zeigt dieses mal neben Death Elementen und folkigen Riffs auch symphonische Anteile.
Die Band schreibt über den neuen Song:
“As we’ve stated previously, our fifth album is thematically the darkest Brymir album ever. This music video for the song “Tempestbound” underlines that. The theme of the song: war in all its madness, our tragic human inability to let go of this madness, and in fact do the opposite; our tendency to elevate warfare to a sacred calling through any conjurable charismatic leaders or belief system loopholes. And for what? Oil? Resources? Riches? Those very things that are destroyed completely in the “process” of acquiring them… Madness. The song is frantic, the theme is insanity, and we couldn’t think of a better partner to bring this wild piece of art to life than Joel Korhonen of Noise Media with whom we previously worked on the “Wings of Fire” music video. A perfectly maddening blur at times, this is the heaviest imagery we’ve ever worked with, and the song absolutely warrants it. Thus we are, titularly, Tempestbound.“
