August ihr Album “ Dawn of the Shaded World” auf den Markt kommt.

Vokalist Alex Centorame erzählt zum Track:

“This song holds a very special place in our hearts. We really experimented with song structure, cinematic vibes, sound design, and the overall character of this piece. Angelus is such a unique character too. I’ve always had a passion for creating characters and giving them an origin story. This song definitely brings that out of me. Especially in my lyrics and performance in the recording.“

Lyrics:

Something takes control of my erosion.

Darkness hanging over me.

A shadow that projects upon the wall,

you cannot predict the past.

No.

They pull your strings until they snap.

They stitch your spine, they know your lies.

I am alone, so far away from home.

My soul, forever cold.

I am faceless, forgotten.

No.

Hunters marching up the stairs, one by one.

Torches and pitchforks in hand.

They’ve come to slay the vampire.

I am alone, so far away from home.

My soul, forever cold.

I am faceless, forgotten.

No.

I stand atop the shivering mountains with nothing but frost,

to chew through my hollow flesh.

When the sun dies and the moon

illuminates the accursed eye,

watch as I turn the snow into rain.

Winter never ends.

Winter never ends.
