Der Name BLACK SPIKES steht für Modern Extreme Progressive Metal Sounds, der sowohl aggressiv als auch zart und zerbrechlich aus den Boxen kommt. Zur weiteren Einstimmung auf das „Ydos“ Album haben Frontfrau und Mittelpunkt Agni und ihre Band ein, wie immer, sehr aufwendiges Video produziert und online gestellt.
