Die finnischen, 2020 von Gitarrist und Songwriter Marko Karhu gegründeten BEARWOOD, haben das ehemalige Nightwish Mastermind MARKO HIETALA hinter dem Mikro, wo er gesanglich eine ganz andere Seite von sich zeigen kann. Die neue Single `Promises´ bietet erneut eingängigen West Coast Gitarrenrock mit 80s Einflüssen. Im März hatte die Band ihren Track `Our Land` online gestellt, der sich inhaltlich gegen den russischen Angriffskrieg auf die Ukraine richtet.
