SÓLSTAFIR Sänger und Gitarrist Aðalbjörn „Addi“ Tryggvason und Birgir Jónsson haben ein metallisches aber auch punkig, crustiges und damit automatisch ein echt grobes neues Baby namens BASTARÐUR an den Start gebracht, mit dem sie jetzt an die Öffentlichkeit gehen. Aber bevor das Debütalbum “Satan’s Loss of Son“ am 29. Oktober herauskommt, hat die Band als erstes Lebenszeichen ‘Viral Tumor’ online gestellt. Aufgemotzt wird die Scheibe übrigens durch zahlreiche Gäste wie Morgoth Sänger Marc Grewe oder Primordials Alan Averill.

„Four years after writing the first riff, two years after the main recording session, I am super happy to finally unleash this album into heavy metal land. It’s a childhood dream come true to make a full blown hm-2 crushing metal album. One might say, my personal tribute to Entombed and Motörhead.“
