Andrey Smirnov, der vormalige Co-Songwriter und Gitarrist von U.D.O. bzw. Dirkschneider arbeitet weiter an seiner neuen Band AXE & ASHES und veröffentlicht mit `Crusher` jetzt die dritte Single, die sich musikalisch ganz im Rahmen seines alten Brötchengebers bewegt. Traditionsmetaller sollten sich hier angesprochen fühlen.

“Classic heavy metal will always have its place in the modern world — it can never become outdated. With AXE & ASHES, my goal is to preserve the spirit of the bands I grew up with while bringing that sound into the present through modern production and a clear artistic vision. I’ve learned from some of the best musicians in the genre, and I’m putting all that experience into this band — from songwriting and production to the visual identity and overall concept.”
