Das Wacken Open Air streamt zum Jahresabschluss AVANTASIAs ‘Dying for an Angel‘ aus dem Jahr 2014. Tobias Sammet arbeitet derzeit wohl am Nachfolger zum 2019er Longplayer „Moonglow“. Er verspricht in einem Post:

„Now some more overdubs, the new album will be killer. Short songs, long songs, pop songs, power metal like on the first ones, a very personal album with a lot of magic and fantasy and great guest performances. „
