Dazu schreiben ATHENA XIX
„‚The Calm Before the Storm‘ deals with the conflict between individuality and society. ATHENA XIX portray this struggle with much compassion and perseverance. But don’t be mistaken, this track still manages to catch you off guard with epic arrangements and Angra vocalist Fabio’s enchanting voice! Titled fittingly „The Calm Before the Storm“ is the last single before the release of the their new album and rings in a new era for ATHENA XIX.“

Lyrics:
What if I’d choose to be myself?
I’d be removed from our society.
They did have us and enslaved us, treating us like numbers.
in a constant mass mind-murder
That’s the calm before the storm.
That’s the way our world goes on and on and on.
Enslaved and unpowered
Obliteration of mind by our ownselves, like always.
eradication of all souls and conscience.
a new society
That’s the calm before the storm.
That’s the way our world goes on and on and on.
Enslaved and unpowered
That’s the calm before the storm
That’s the world that we all know…
That’s the calm before the storm.
That’s the way our world goes on and on and on.
Enslaved and unpowered
