“La Vie, La Mort, L’Amour” soll das neue ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN Album heißen, die seit ihrem Weggang von The Gathering 2007 irgendwie Narrenfreiheit bei den Metalheads genießt. Die ersten vier Songs, die als „La Vie“ Teil bzw. EP deklariert wurden, sind allesamt gestern erschienen. Sprich, erst 2026 werden die drei EPs zusammen ein Album ergeben, das dann auch in physischer Form mit allen Songs erscheinen wird.
Die Sängerin schreibt dazu:
„I wrote these songs shortly after the passing of both of my parents and I brought my 8-piece live band into the studio to record them. Last year, I was confronted with some of life’s biggest questions and the doubt that came with my loss. These songs reflect my emotions and thoughts during that challenging time. Musically, I was inspired by the sounds of the ’80s and ’90s, the music that shaped my youth.“
