ALTAR OF OBLIVION haben am Wochenende `Nothing Grows From Hallowed Ground` , ihren epischen und leicht kauzigen Opener ihres kommenden vierten Longplayers herausgebracht. Inhaltlich geht es auf “In The Cesspit Of Divine Decay” dann um die dänische Historie, genauer gesagt um den Urgroßvater des Gitarristen Martin Meyer. Das Album soll noch in diesem Jahr erscheinen.

Lyrics:
A Story told
The wounded Self
The Sight of his Father’s Grave
Dystopia through Millennia
Driven by Hate and Fear
The fading Shrine
Men of Faith
Seeking Obedience
Looking for Humanity
All you see; Profanity
The Trails are running cold
There is no Hope for us
There is no Promised Land
Nothing but shallow Bounds
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Behind the hidden Sign
The Power of the Mind
Nothing but shallow Bounds
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Behind the Lies
Worlds collide
Silence around me
Behind the Truth
Evil lies
Ruins beneath me
Looking for Humanity
All you see; Profanity
The Trails are running cold
There is no hope for us
There is no Promised Land
Nothing but shallow Bounds
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Behind the hidden Sign
The Power of the Mind
Nothing but shallow Bounds
Nothing grows from hallowed Ground
Far away, far away
Wicked Sinners
Far away, far away
Inner Demons
Far away, far away
Wicked Sinners
Far away, far away
Inner Demons
Far away, far away
Wicked Sinners stay away
Far away, far away
Inner Demons (stay away)
Dying Souls intertwined
In the Depths of Hell you find
Dying Souls intertwined
Failing Gods are next in Line
Nothing but shallow Bounds
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
Nothing grows from Hallowed Ground
