ACCEPT stellen die erste Single aus ihrem Jubiläumsalbum „Teutonic Titans“ vor. 50 Gäste bereichern die 19 Tracks und Klassiker der Band. Bei der ersten Auskopplung `Fast As A Shark´ sind dies Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, Billy Sheehan und Mikkey Dee. Hinzu kommt noch die bayrische Harmonie Musik Hindelang, die für das vergnügliche Volksmusik-Intro gesorgt hat.
Weitere prominente Gäste des Longplayers: Rob Halford, Matthias Jabs, David Ellefsson, K.K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan und Jeff Loomis. Abgerundet wird das Ganze von einer Neuaufnahme von ‚Hellhammer‘ („Eat The Heat“, 1989), eingespielt von der aktuellen ACCEPT Besetzung: Wolf Hoffmann, Bassist Martin Motnik, Gitarrist Philip Shouse und Schlagzeuger Christopher Williams, unterstützt von Jason McMaster am Gesang. Das 50th Anniversary Album erscheint am 04. September.
Ende des Jahres feiern ACCEPT ihr 50. Bandjubiläum dann mit der „Half A Century Of Metal…“ Tour durch Europa. Die Termine findet ihr hier.

“This song was so much fun! We even re-recorded the intro in a Bavarian oompah style… a friend of mine lives in Bavaria, and he was in contact with one of those traditional Bavarian woodwind outfits, and they recorded the traditional German folk song ‘Ein Heller und ein Batzen’ for us, which was fantastic. We were lucky to get Phil Anselmo on vocals, Billy Sheehan on bass, and of course Kirk Hammett on guitar, which is amazing, and Mikkey Dee on drums, so that’s a pretty nice supergroup, isn’t it?”
The upcoming album serves as both a celebration of the band’s history and the heavy metal genre itself, in which they played a pivotal and highly influential part. 19 timeless tracks, 50 iconic guests.“
