Pennsylvanias, RIVERS OF NIHIL haben ihr Album Nummer fünf „Rivers Of Nihil“ bereits mit `House of Light` angekündigt. Für Adam Biggs und Co. scheint das Album die Gelegenheit die Band musikalisch zu erneuern neu, zumal nach der 2023 erfolgten Umbesetzung. Dabei soll die, am 30. Mai kommende “Rivers Of Nihil Scheibe auch noch zusätzliche Musiker bereithalten, wie Patrick Corona am Saxophon, Stephan Lopez am Banjo, McFarland am Cello, und eine Reihe an Gastshoutern, die den Sound bereichern.
Gitarrist Brody Uttley erklärt zum Titel:
“‘American Death’ is a title that we’ve been throwing around and printing on our T-shirts since 2013. We figured it was finally time to write a song with that title, and given the subject matter of the lyrics, it would only make sense for this song to be a true ass beater. It’s definitely the most true form ‘heavy’ song of these singles, so we are very much looking forward to playing it live.”
