MAWIZA, Mitglieder der indigenen Mapuche Nation, im heutigen Chile haben mit ihrer Mixtur aus Metal und eben traditioneller Musk ihrer eigenen Kultur erstaunlichen Erfolg. Jetzt plant die vierköpfige Band eine neue Akustik-EP, die unter dem Titel “IÑ MONGELETEW (Those Who Give Us Life)“ am 06. November in die Läden kommen wird. Als erster Vorbote ist jetzt das Video zur intensiven neuen Single `Wüzapiwken` (Divided Heart) online gegangen.
MAWIZA erklären zur ersten Auskopplung:
“‘Wüzapiwken’ is a song with a divided heart. It’s a ritual that transforms into song and is deliberately unclear where one ends and the other begins. It opens with a greeting to nature, announcing what is about to be sung, and releases the feelings held within a divided heart into the space where we live.”
