THY CATAFALQUE , das Avant-Garde Metal Projekt von Tamás Kátai entwickelt sich in Richtung Black-Death, zumindest wenn die neue `Tömbök` (Masses) Single wegweisend für das bereits dreizehnte Album “ XIII: Sárga Erdő“ ist. Dazu tragen auch die Vocals bzw. Growls von Gábor Veres bei, die den leicht abgefahrenen Extremesound perfekt abrundet.
Tamás Kátai erklärt:
“The title means Masses and this is definitely the heaviest and darkest piece here. The lyrics are about the method of waste disposal by incineration, and the process of how the waste is being divided into heat and slag or lifeless masses and how matter shifts its shape during different chemical and physical circumstances. You can apply the phenomenon to the human mindset affected by the daily life if you wish but that’s just an idea. This is our first video with the band playing a song. We have Gábor Veres here on vocals and we also have a flute in the track.”
