Frank Beard, der seit 1969 Schlagzeuger bei ZZ TOP war, ist gestern im Alter von 77 Jahren in einem Hospiz, in Richmond, Texas verstorben. Er verkaufte mit ZZ TOP mehr als 50 Millionen Tonträger und war an Hit-Singles, wie `Sharp Dressed Man` oder `Gimme All Your Lovin` beteiligt.
Billy Gibbons schreibt auf den Social Media Kanälen:
“Today, Elwood and I lost a great friend and collaborator, and the world lost one of the most naturally innovative drummers and a great and true son of Texas. His signature backbeat was key to keeping ZZ on top.”
