MASSACRE, die Old School Death Metal Legende von Growl-König Kam Lee, stellen heute ihre neue Single `Parasyte (Bite)` der Öffentlichkeit vor. Vorerst gibt es den Track, bei dem auch der in multiplen Bands spielende Håkan Stuvemark mitwirkt, nur digital, bevor er auf einer Split mit COFFIN auch zu Vinylehren kommen wird.
Kam erklärt außerdem:
“This track PARASYTE ( BITE ) represents the band’s continued growth and development with creating traditional old school death metal as well it’s the transition of the band’s recording studio lineup to the now established performance line up.
The last track to be written, recorded, and released by the remaining RESURGENCE/NECROLUTION members Kam Lee, Rogga Johansson, and Jon Rudin, & joined by special guest Håkan Stuvemark.
Massacre and Kam’s primary goal is to always make sure the band is consistent with creating new music and maintaining a sound that remains rooted in traditional styles. Death Metal is not a simple one directional sound but it should at least maintain its original form with its familiar foundation.
Although members have changed through the different stages of the band throughout the years the core elements have remained intact.
Kam’s own version of the band has been to maintain a certain level of continuity with its original vocal style and lyrical content.
As the voice of the band it is his goal to keep the soul of the band intact regardless of the continued shedding outer skin. Like when a reptile sheds its skin to become a new and continuing to grow, so does the band Massacre with every iteration. Let us not hold onto dead skin and the flakes of the past, but move forward with fresh new life and growth!“
